ICE is an award-winning social enterprise (HKSEC 2009, PolyU MicroFund 2013, and more), with a unique position in Hong Kong to bring global education to its youth.
ICE has the vision of a world of global citizens, where people understand and respect different cultures and communities. We believe this leads to a better and more peaceful world, while at the same time benefiting people’s lives directly through better career opportunities with cross-cultural competencies. We are developing global citizens through facilitating intercultural interactions and enabling youth to get to know the world by connecting with a variety of people of different nationalities and backgrounds.
ICE was founded and is run by young and energetic trainers with years of experience in running youth conferences and study trips, mostly for university students and senior secondary school students. Our main trainers have degrees from the world’s top universities (Oxford University, The University of Hong Kong, etc.) as well as the know-how to train speakers and facilitators. We have training experience in various countries, and we have worked with most Hong Kong universities as well as more than 50 secondary schools. In addition, we have co-operated with institutions such as the Hong Kong Arts Centre on cross-cultural public arts events, as well as UNHCR and UNESCO in Hong Kong for global and social issues.
