When Sai Hing sinks into a coma after an accident, his fiancée Tung’s life seems perpetually trapped in the hospital ward.
For thirty years, all of Tung’s visits accumulate into an overflow of memories.
Is the ward his or her destiny?
The Ward is the work of up-and-coming playwright Lee Wai Lok, who translated Passive Voice for our Reader’s Theatre and whose original script Two Thieves was selected for a public reading in our Open Platform and directed by HKRep company member Lau Shau Ching.
